Prize Draw Privacy Policy

Who we are
This prize draw is organised by Jura Amateur Dramatics (JamDram), a community theatre group based on the Isle of Jura, Scotland. We are raising funds to buy a portable stage for community use.

When you enter the prize draw or donate, we may collect:

  • Your name and contact details (email, phone, postal address)

  • Your donation amount and payment details (processed securely by our payment provider)

  • Any messages or information you choose to share with us
     

How we use your information

We use this information to:

  • Process your donation and prize draw entry

  • Contact the winner and arrange delivery of the prize

  • Thank supporters and keep you updated about the campaign (if you opt in)
     

Sharing your information

  • We will never sell your information.

  • We only share data with trusted service providers (such as the crowdfunding platform and payment processor) where necessary to run the campaign.
     

How long we keep your information

  • Prize draw entrant data will be kept until 3 months after the draw has closed, for auditing purposes.

  • If you have opted in to receive updates, we will keep your contact details until you unsubscribe.
     

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you

  • Correct or delete your personal information

  • Withdraw consent for marketing at any time

Prize Draw - Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility

    • The prize draw is open to all supporters aged 18 or over.

    • By entering, you confirm you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
       

  2. How to Enter

    • Entry is automatic when you make a qualifying donation to this campaign.

    • Every £10 donation = 1 entry.

    • Every £25 donation = 3 entries.

    • Every £50 donation = 7 entries.

    • There is no limit to the number of entries per person.

    • No purchase necessary — to enter without donating, please send your name, email address, and contact phone number on a postcard to: The Secretary, JAMDRAM, c/o The Service Point, Craighouse, Isle of Jura PA60 7XG.
      One free entry per household.
       

  3. Prize Details

    • The winner will receive up to 5 consecutive nights’ accommodation at Bothan Jura Retreat, subject to availability.

    • The winner may choose between The Black Hut, The Rusty Hut, or Mrs Leonard’s Cottage.

    • Travel to and from Jura is not included.

    • There is no cash alternative and no refund for any unused nights.

    • Once the stay is booked, the prize winner (or their transferee) becomes a guest and standard Bothan Jura Retreat terms & conditions apply, as with any paying guest. Full accommodation terms & conditions will be provided at booking.

    • The prize may be transferred to another named person at the winner’s request.
       

  4. Draw Date & Winner Notification

    • The prize draw will close on 5pm Friday 6th February 2026.

    • The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries and notified by email or phone within 7 days.

    • If the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, a new winner will be drawn.
       

  5. General

    • The prize is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

    • By entering, you agree that your name may be announced publicly as the winner.

    • This prize draw is being run by Jura Amateur Dramatics (JamDram) in connection with our crowdfunding campaign to fund a portable stage.
